It's not an easy task to manufacture quality and durable game-board or
plan. A
single paper game-board does not make any troubles. However, many problems
arise when
the game-board consists of more than one paper (and that's the majority). Of
course,
you may easily glue the papers together and eagerly await for problems with
subsequent storing of the game-board and game-board instability, since folded
paper
is not stable and even a slight push may scatter the game-counters all over the
table. The following paragraphs are appointed to those of you, who take gaming
seriously and who want to make durable game-boards for pleasant evenings full
of joy.

The following lines were written with respect to the game-boards created by
games.mantikora.com editors. However, the instructions may be associated to
any other
game-boards (plans) downloaded from the internet or even to any commercially
distributed game-boards you may buy in your local store.
What do you need? You need several white papers, computer printer, ruler,
pencil,
sharp knife or modeling knife, glue and carton. Carton is quite difficult to
get, so
if you don't find any at home, go to the nearest shop and buy a television. The
television will certainly be packed in carton:o) The best is the carton with a
single
row of waves, though two wave-rows carton is also sufficient. Fundamentally
use the
dry glues (like glue sticks), since wet glues pucker the paper.
1. Print all of the game-board pieces on a computer printer, each one at the
separate paper. Most of the time, the game board comprises of four pieces.
Each piece
is included in a separate file.

|
2. Connect those tinny little marks (short thin lines) located at the edge
of
papers using ruler and pencil. These marks serves for highlighting the boundary
between the game-board piece and the overlaps. If you prefer, you may easily
cut off
some of the overlaps and glue the papers together. But that's not the point!
If you
would like to manufacture a really good and fine game-board, please read
on!

4. Take the knife and cut off the excess carton along the paper edge. Cut
off the
overlaps along the lines we have drawn in previous point. Repeat the procedure
for
each one of the game-board pieces. After that, you game-board is ready. By
using the
cited procedure, you've got four or more plates. Put the plates together and
you get
a fine and stable game-board. You may easily separate the plates and store
them in a
box after finishing the game:o)
